“When the moon rises, even fish fall in love” is an acoustic concert, weaving together folk songs from Denmark and Italy about the sea, the longings of the night and the confessions of broken hearts.
Both dramatic, humorous and poetic, the performance is a meeting between Northern and Southern Europe; a commute back and forth – as the two musicians exchange, interpret and fuse folk songs from each other’s cultural backgrounds.
The songs are stories that revolve around the alluring powers of the sea, the winding roads of life and the frustrations of bittersweet love.
